Lewis Hoad's death certificate

Spotted something wrong!!
on the certificate the informant was Emma Elizabeth Hoad widow of Decreased... Who Emma?? I thought Lewis's wife was Joan!

this certificate death 26th April 1971 at Royal Sea Bathing Hospital.. thats right information Lewis did died there, and around the right year.. BUT who Emma???

Barrowby

We went on the hunt to find Sentance family's grave at All Saints church, Barrowby in Lincolnshire.


Very nice small village, in middle of nowhere. Nice church too, very peaceful!

I was hoping to find grave of Frances and Valentine.. nope not there - possible the headstone was broken years ago??

found a few headstone relate to Sentance, it was buried under the nettle field.. Luckly I got jean on and some were flowering already.

Note to self.. go on grave headstone hunt in Autumn when flowers/nettles have gone!!

Recieved the birth certificate..
Harry Holme born 13th June 1881 Lancaster
Wrong Harry his father on the certificate says Nicholas Holme, wrong father, should be John Holme as mentioned on marriage certificate!

found another birth on ancestry 1875 Bury Lancashire sound about right.. order it now...

Louisa Jane Hoad

Receieved the certificates finally!

Louisa Jane Hoad born 6th August 1889 and died 21st Sept 1889 from spina bidifa her father is Charles Hoad and mother is Mary Ann Piper

Nana's 90th Birthday!

Theobald family history book was finally made! (sorry not for sale to public) I gave to Nana (Mary Faulkner) for her 90th birthday last sunday.



You can see she was very happy to receive it!


The Theobald family work is not finished.. still more ongoing work to do.

cant find her death date!! Arrgghh.. I was told by their daughter Lillian that she died April 1943.. no sight of her.

I have found Lewis' death date April quarter 1971 I have ordered the certificate via GRO he was born 18th May 1894 at Brede

Samuel Theobald

Have ordered birth and death certificate of Samuel Theobald

born 1887 and another at 1888

died 1888

I am chasing up the story about a child belongs to Frederick Theobald (b. 1850) who drowned that made the family give up life on the boat and moved to dry land. Ada was around 6yrs old when this happen. This child supposed fell in between 2 boats. where this happen we will never know.

Samuel seems to be match for this story, so have ordered the certificate to see if its a match.
