Have ordered birth and death certificate of Samuel Theobald

born 1887 and another at 1888

died 1888

I am chasing up the story about a child belongs to Frederick Theobald (b. 1850) who drowned that made the family give up life on the boat and moved to dry land. Ada was around 6yrs old when this happen. This child supposed fell in between 2 boats. where this happen we will never know.

Samuel seems to be match for this story, so have ordered the certificate to see if its a match.

Middlewich

We went to Middlewich for the day out
went to the Middlewich cemetery, no sight of Theobald buried in there. James spoken to a nice lady who said to talk to the person looking after the graves.. have got the email address: middlewichcemetery@focusuk.net Have send them an email asking for look up.

we went to Pub caled the Lock, nice pub lunch!! try the chicken there Emily loved it!
we then went for a walk on the canal path, to find Canal Terrace, thats on the census some of the family were staying. Not very big place! hard to imagine what it is like in 1890s. (Any pictures of that year would be brilliant!)

Theobald

I almost complete my booklet which cover Theobald of Draycott up to 1800s.. for my grandma's 90th birthday.

I still waiting for Sarah Theobald and Ada Theobald.. the daughters of Frederick Theobald for their birth certificate. Ada and Sarah are very confusing, their birth are mentioned on census, but register office say "no record of them"!!! Have to think what to do next.

Sarah Theobald on Census says born about 1888 at Lanton, Cheshire.
Ada Theobald on Census says born about 1885 at Kidsgrove
