Very nice small village, in middle of nowhere. Nice church too, very peaceful!
I was hoping to find grave of Frances and Valentine.. nope not there - possible the headstone was broken years ago??
found a few headstone relate to Sentance, it was buried under the nettle field.. Luckly I got jean on and some were flowering already.
Note to self.. go on grave headstone hunt in Autumn when flowers/nettles have gone!!

Frances and Valentine are there, but back towards the wall and possibly obscured by weeds. I have a picture if you'd like.

Nice to see someone else looking around Barrowby church.My Great Grandfather (times9 I think)Dr Thomas Hurst was the rector there in the time of King Charles 1st and was a parson to the King.Yes, it's a nice little church and it felt strange to sit in the pews, thinking that he'd preached there.
